Sammi Hanratty plays the lead in two upcoming feature films: “The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone,” which was shot on location in Thailand, and “The Greening of Whitney Brown”, in which she plays the title character alongside Brooke Shields, Aidan Quinn, and Kris Kristofferson. In addition, Hanratty has shared the big screen with some of Hollywood’s finest including Cuba Gooding Jr, Ray Liotta, Jim Carrey, Colin Firth, Gary Oldman, Robin Wright and Cary Elwes. She worked with Oscar winning director Robert Zemeckis in Disney’s blockbuster, “A Christmas Carol”, in which she played several different characters.
Sammi’s success is not limited to feature films. Her numerous television credits include three concurrent recurring roles on CBS’ “The Unit,” ABC’s “Pushing Daisies”, and Disney’s “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody”.
After playing the title role of Chrissa in “An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong”, Sammi joined forces with Bullybust.org. She travels around the country speaking to children about the importance of being an Upstander.
Next for the 16 year old is a lead in the Indie film “Amazing Love: The Story of Hosea”, which follows five friends as they embark on a weekend camping trip led by their church youth group leader and his wife.
